Computer programming started as a hobby for me several years ago. It quickly became an educational passion. Seeing the creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration programming offered, I simply had to share these tools with my students and colleagues. I first shared programming with students at my school in a once a week after school program. This program became such a success, I decided to teach it in the summer. So for the last three summers, I have been teaching video game design and programming at Mira Costa College in Oceanside, California.
Along with teaching these skills, I have joined Apple's iOS Developer Program and created several innovative educational Apps available in Apple's App Store.

FluencyFluency allows students to record their own oral reading. Then they can listen to it and effortlessly send it to their teacher. Teachers can add any reading passage they choose and students are capable of adjusting the font and size to their personal visual comfort.

Q.R. JumpQR Jump is the first QR Scanner App designed specifically for use in the classroom. It allows QR Codes to immediately play songs or podcasts from the device's library. Along with viewing and streaming from the internet, videos can also be played from the device. It can be used for listening centers, student audio work samples, and audio treasure hunts without Internet connectivity.
